Part I
1. Provenance
[Lyrics]
Light dribbles over the darkness’ cloak I am enveloped by hibernal dream Autumnal breath pursued and I knew Whispered round me, black winds blew Flying above, conscious ascend A thousand people lost, Cimmerian end I rode to my home, reeling The message of the wind so clear In pastures of death I crawl to relay I am the messiah of disbelief As I finish my mystic stumble my oath to this earth is sealed I crest the hill, the final stretch Townspeople wander the streets, bustling I weep for the notice of a single soul Zealous ears ignoring the squalid Shouting to flee imminent death The hand upon my shoulder I struggle in sincerity for my kin I covet those who do ordain Standing now, not by will My wrists shackled, iron touch Screaming with rage into heathen’s face Choking godless figure, “Cast him out” |
2. Exile
[Lyrics]
Vanishing fog fading into pools Draining away my hope Vacancy, writhing breath Crumbling citadels mask my steps In plains of glistening blades In woods of contorted trees Ever seeking the mysteries Falling deeper into pain Hide beyond the reach of our kin I dare not show my face again Things should remain unknown Lest all will soon turn into stone Shouting to flee imminent death The hand upon my shoulder I struggle in sincerity for my kin I covet those who do ordain Standing now, not by will My wrists shackled, iron touch Screaming with rage into heathen’s face Choking godless figure, “Put him down” |
3. Pariah
[Lyrics]
Pacing with death inside Gazing through me in the night Screaming for help I cried And snuffed was I, like candlelight Roaring disdain emanating The aura had vanished before When all is emptied Where is one to go? Dying and fading away / city engulfed in black Never belonging in a folding era / death of a system, poisonous mask Perfect cause in their eyes Would kill and die with god in their mind Vague expressions in those who hate, don’t care unless instructed Pressure in conformity, thought punished in convergency The larger the group, the greater the hazard All I want in life is to die in peace |
Part II
4. Cascade
[Lyrics]
I’ve told my lies without the loss of a minute of sleep In the woods I find myself lingering Unhinge the shaded sky and take cover beneath I do not carve the words of god into my teeth I was drawn to the waters at the bend Fleeing from decaying footsteps in my head As a crane in flight, a martyr of the dead Betraying me in time, the Earth will feed on my flesh |
5. The Embers of Distress
[Lyrics]
I see not hope here, I cannot serve this earth I lament my heritage, I expect not grievance For I truly despise humankind! A godless figure, scream to the sky Sing the ocean’s tunes, this day I die A forsaken friend spent his millennia here A heathen in sovereignty, frozen in time Stagnant waters rush between my toes Deliver me from the torment Banish the shackles that bind my feet To the burning ground I am chained An idol from the past saw calamity before it struck And in abandonment would spare us all A single tear runs down my face Cascades across my flaking skin I was and I am the final tempest I breathe this autumn sky, which is my dusted cloak I was and I am the martyr of emptiness A vacant void which swells now folds, erasing the pock that is man |
6. Search
[Lyrics]
We’re on the shores of time, our wings fell to our sides Will we find a home amidst this dark, ancient cold Lesser lived fragments of the once shattered dream Play as notes in the melody of the hope that I used to keep Father told me to listen to the words of one To repent my sins and give unto Him Weep beside this oak, lend your tears to the bark Cry a silent storm as draws near your doom Christ sank the Sol in your thoughts But he perished by your hand long ago From the tomb ascended a mortal feigning death in the dark He was claimed by the true rulers and the just His flame a candle at the base of the bonfire The caricatures of gods lit the dusk of man A dirge shatters the morning, the pallor ivory white Of your stone dead prophet, his wrists drained cold Wounds as jagged as the mountains etched in holy skin In the mire of tears descends an overseer of torment I saw the nightfall, a chalice of vapor Poured into my soul, the onyx embrace A phantasma’s mist graced my shoulder Shone in rays on my face, the beauty of the burning sun The crust breaks at the dawn Seething in the wake of ebony tide Drift away in the quiet waters Lose your face and drown with the others An oceanic grievance drew me to the sands below Damn thyself not to the agony of ebony tides I see your suffering, I see your regret But it is my place to rest with the drowned Tis a place of torment, a torture beyond eternity Scars lain deep, join us not, the Drowned I will leave you be, oh Drowned To sink without my presence The boughs of these hills sing their longing to me |
7. The Boughs of These Hills
[Lyrics]
Sing a lullaby, drain the poison from the earth The stinging of rope on skin, cumbersome burden to bear The turn is mine, the line has come The dead beg a name and that name is mine A pale sky shone on me, I was alone The final revenant of man without a soul I shall not return from solemn perdition I covet death and resent forgiveness Sweep your hatreds into the dawn, play the lullaby of the earth Sing your sorrows and come to die, drain the poison from your soul The perfection of the silent darkness Burned my eyes as I fade unto it The stinging of the rope and skin And the writhing of my final breaths Faith crumbles beneath my steps I crawl to death with languor Chalcedony glows, brumes float about my body I am bereaved, choked of my forlorn life The burden of humanity broke those who balance So cleansed are we The boughs of these hills sing my last notes to me |

8. Downfall
[Lyrics]
I advise you repent, the antichrist rises
Ensuring the damnation of mankind
Diminished faith unto abandonment
Frost was silent as the gods wept flames
Painted ice across the night sky
A winged figure in flight
The lies spoken by the jealous
Are washed clean on the millionth rain
This icy landscape, scenes of a struggle
Hatred seared, its crust shattered
Winter’s call fell across the land
Death’s hand once cold as my own
Sterile are the boughs of the spirit, flooding from basins of tears
This tundra, in its desolate grandeur, benevolent features silenced the landscape
Where has time gone / we lost all that we had
Once silence stole all that we loathe
We sought love / we failed not for them
Fire singed heartache / cold embers to dust
Silent fought we through the end of fortnight
Into its cold, icy landscape, past ethers we soar
When the demise of humankind reaches its end
As destruction spans the horizon, I find a sort of peace
A peace I see alone, as only I observe its beauty
And only I find in it catharsis
I advise you repent, the antichrist rises
Ensuring the damnation of mankind
Diminished faith unto abandonment
Frost was silent as the gods wept flames
Painted ice across the night sky
A winged figure in flight
The lies spoken by the jealous
Are washed clean on the millionth rain
This icy landscape, scenes of a struggle
Hatred seared, its crust shattered
Winter’s call fell across the land
Death’s hand once cold as my own
Sterile are the boughs of the spirit, flooding from basins of tears

Once silence stole all that we loathe
We sought love / we failed not for them
Fire singed heartache / cold embers to dust
Silent fought we through the end of fortnight
Into its cold, icy landscape, past ethers we soar
When the demise of humankind reaches its end
As destruction spans the horizon, I find a sort of peace
A peace I see alone, as only I observe its beauty

9. Of Floods and Flame
[Lyrics]
Candlelight falls from above the trees
A flash of light, it is ceasing
The raindrops touch my skin
Once saturated soil now grieving
As it is dressed in flame
The waves tear over me
At their crest I rise, struggling
Water gone, brimstone again
The burning trees fall around me
Skin is browning in the roar of the blaze
I accept the closing of my final days
Drifting in the wake of pain
Blinding light coming again
Who am I to resist
The end is crawling over me
I never knew my place in this life
I found it here, hanging from a branch
Candlelight falls from above the trees
A flash of light, it is ceasing
The raindrops touch my skin
Once saturated soil now grieving
As it is dressed in flame
The waves tear over me
At their crest I rise, struggling
Water gone, brimstone again
The burning trees fall around me
Skin is browning in the roar of the blaze
I accept the closing of my final days
Drifting in the wake of pain
Blinding light coming again
Who am I to resist
The end is crawling over me
I never knew my place in this life
I found it here, hanging from a branch
